Mediform Conforming Bandage

The Mediform Conforming Bandage is an elastic fixation bandage designed for use on intact skin (medical device). It is used to hold wound dressings of all types in place. Designed to mould itself to the shape of the area it is applied, this conforming bandage is commonly used to support strains and for dressing retention. Its conforming capability helps the bandage stay in place, providing extra security.

The bandage material is self-adhesive, so when wrapped, it attaches to itself but will not stick to the skin. This reduces pain and discomfort during dressing changes by allowing easy removal. Mediform Conforming Bandages are breathable, allowing air to circulate over the skin and around the dressing, reducing the risk of infection, inflammation, and skin reactions from prolonged bandaging.

This conforming bandage will not sag or droop because it clings tightly to itself and holds its shape. It does not require clips, tapes, or other devices to secure it in place thanks to its self-adhesive characteristics.
